  5. This is a really cool project, and the flags look great. What a clever way to make a situation you didn't like into something great for other people. It was hard to chose just one, but I really liked the colors and the symmetry of
    Ivona Cvitkovic's flag.

  6. I prefer the last one, by Filip Volic. I think a flag should convey the message as simply as possible but be immediately recognizable. I think Filip's does a good job of both.

  7. I voted for Lara Kaucic, 9.

    What a great project!

  8. These all are good and I enjoyed looking at them.

I like the ocean lines and dolphin in Korina Knez's flag and because I'm a sailor I like the sailboat in Iva Maric's flag, but my favorite and the one I'll vote for is Kristijan Kecevin's flag because of the way the world looks and the textures.

  9. I liked them all! But if I have to choose one, then Lara Kaucic's. It's got a really good balance of colour and a strong image.

  11. Although it was hard to pick just one, i really love Jurica Nuic's flag! i think this is a great way to take something you don't like and turn it into something that works! CONGRATS on taking a stand!

  12. This very, very hard. I think there is a lot of beautiful work here.

My two favorites are Korina Knez, 10 (because it feels like the dolphin is soaring above the waves, and I love the little yellow star, almost hidden)

And Jurica Nuic, 10 (because I would like to salute this flag. Strong colours with a serious looking fish.)

But I guess if I have to pick just one...
    I pick: Korina Knez

Lovely flags. Very fun to look at and imagine waving in the air.

  13. Jurica Nuic's flag is the one I could see myself saluting. I love the colors and the symmetry. Congratulations to all the artists, however, for their diverse and creative entries.

  19. Tough decision... I like Iva Maric's the best, I think. :D

  20. A difficult choice, but I have to go with Leopold Glasnovic 9. I like the blue of the ocean below and the red of the sky above. It reminds of the old saying: Red sky at night, sailor's delight: red sky at morning, sailors take warning.

It has a nice symmetry, bold colours and, of course, an ocean dweller.

  21. I vote for milica dragic's flag. I really like the 'abstractness' of it. What a fun contest!

  22. Although I wish this was more broad than just Croatian kids, I thought it was charming. I voted for Ivona Cvitkovic's flag, because to me, it looked the most like a real flag that would be flown from a mast.

Great idea! Maybe I'll duplicate it in El Salvador, so we broaden the horizon.

  23. Kristijan Kecevin

    Hard decision :)

  24. Hello, Wild Unicorn.
What a great contest! All the flags are so beautiful! It's really hard to pick just one, but since I have to, I choose Ivona Cvitkovic's flag because I like the colors, and the unique way the fish is portrayed. It looks little, yet important in the big world.

  25. It was very hard to pick up the best one. I thought they were all excellent. I am going to vote for Ivona's flag - there is a nice contrast with the yellow, green and blue.

    I like your blog.
